Leak Management

The Leak Management is a discipline that identifies, classifies, quantifies and repairs, in a cost-benefit perspective, the losses of compressed air and other industrial gases.

Every second, minute and hour of operation losses are wasting money. Therefore, time is a key factor in the success of a leak management program. Auditech takes care of all phases of the process, ensuring the performances of certified engineers ASNT and ISO 18436/8 and ultrasonic instrumentation with the best possible resolution.

During our presence in the field, the staff of the plant is not diverted from their usual tasks, allowing a significant reduction in time and cost of implementation of the Leak Management process.

Our technicians, in addition to catalog the losses depending on the severity, can inventorying damaged material and encode it, to simplified the search of spare parts.

LEAK MANAGEMENTINTERVENTIONS USUALLY HAVE AN ESTIMATED PAY BACK TIME OF 3 MONTHS AND ARE THE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS WITH THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR PLANTS.

  3. Estimate the cost of each loss, thanks to the experience of hundreds of documented projects
  4. Repair: check the correct repair of leaks, even with a second inspection with the Airborne Ultrasound
  5. Provide a report of the results obtained, showing the wasted Euros and the Euros saved as a result of the repairs.
  6. Planning and Iteration

The advantages of outsourcing

This graph is an example of how, in terms of time and, therefore, of money, it is convenient outsourcing. Auditech with the best available instrumentation and qualified technicians is able to carry out the whole process (from the research of the losses to the final report) in a few days.

A company that starts from scratch should: buy the equipment, train operators and finally begin the process of leak management. It is clear that the internal solution is economically disadvantageous because it dilates enormously times and costs of the project without having the same quality because the operator’s inexperience.
