KPI and Reporting
The three " Must" :
- The design of Maintenance is a process of continuous optimization and decisions must be supported analytically .
- The objectives must be identically related to the numerical values of departure and arrival , which will allow a verification of the achievement .
- The top management must be able to follow the trend of performance in a clear and concise .
To respond to the "three Must " above , the Maintenance Engineering uses indexes or KPI (Key Performances Indicators) selected by UNI and codified internationally . To these can be added to the Indices or customer specific KPIs that increase the significance of the indices or KPI canons.
The selection of the indices and the definition of the boundary conditions ( measurement mode , "stakes " , conventions etc.). Determine the information content and comparability over time.
The performance index is part of the regular document ( Report) Maintenance Engineering prepares to control the level of service provided.
Auditech supports the customer in setting the layout of the Reporting also in terms of hierarchical levels at which it is directed . In the case in example (Graph for Top Management ) , the increase in reliability is reflected in the sharp decline in the bedding and low values of the use of faulty maintenance ( corrective )
Parallel decrease maintenance costs real , even if the true profit factor is the increase of productivity and quality induced by the reduction of the scientific and systematic failure rate . This aspect will find evidence elsewhere in the Report, where they can be monitored and enhanced productivity and quality.
